The first one you must of had 9 guys, I counted 45, 5 limit each. Man the most I've ever got in one trip is 4.

My buddy Mikes first duck hunt. A nice morning in Lake Elmo. Six Green Heads. One Hen. Two Geese.

An awufully wet and muddy morning and we knew we had a lot of work to do getting out into te field as muddy as it was but we stuck it out through the rain lightning and lots off mud and boy did it pay off!

7 dozen decoys 10 callers and 15 guys total= 30 geese 2 bands!

the other guys that arn't in the picture are cleaning the 4 wheelers and the enclosed trailer.

I'm new to hunting, first trip is tomorrow morning. Where can you go in Lake Elmo? do you just go to the Washington Co park?

Did you manage to get pretty close to Seneca's land? Anywhere else around Glencoe, Brownton, Hutch, Biscay can be tough (too much refuge) otherwise. Do you hunt late season?

lol I wish you could hunt the county park. I hunt a smaller lake on my uncles farm.

yeah we hunt land anywhere from across the gravel road from the lagoons behing senaca to basically a lot of fields in the surrounding area. You would think they would be hard to decoy but with a good set up, flagging and good calling they'll come in. We shot these 1/2 mile south of senaca. and this is just the start of it. can't wait for the migration to kick in.

Freelance hunted North Dakota last weekend: no guide, no leased land, no pay to hunt . . . . no problem shooting drake mallards.
