I'm about ready to order this tire.. Anyone have these? What do you think?
  2. Anyone have experience with smoking suckers? I know my grandpa used to get them on their run every year and smoke them. I think he was getting white suckers, but I've heard red horse suckers are better. I don't know why this would be true but I'm no expert. Are they good?
  3. How much will all of that cost you? Do you get the old stuff or is it at regular price?
  4. I would recommend going to your local Sherwin-Williams store. I used to be a commercial coatings rep, and also worked in a few stores. They have at least a couple choices for garage floors. The cheaper one is a kit that doesn't require acid etching if I remember correctly however it doesn't provide the extreme durability that the better option will provide. These are epoxy based coatings. I have no affiliation to the company anymore, but my experience with these products as well as seeing many other failed products on garage floors leaves me extremely confident in their products. Good luck.
  5. Whats the best place to buy new rubber?
  6. Great deer! I'm learning more and more every year that "hunting" is less about harvesting the animal. With as many pics you've got of this deer I'm sure you feel like you have some connection to the deer/relationship. Sounds cheesy but it's the love for the animal and connecting with them in their daily life. You were more fortunate than most just to have this connection with the deer. Congrats on the encounter's you've had through your camera!
  7. I had a similar issue. I spent money on the quick connect and haven't had an issue since. The quick connector is much more convenient as well.
  8. I would say learning how to read and accurately use a lake map is key. You will not catch fish if you don't know where to go or where your at. A lake master chip and a basic flasher are at the top of the list for me.

    Tire chain style

Good to hear. The studded diamond design is way more expensive.
  11. I like fluorocarbon on my pan fish rods due to the very little stretch and its ability to disappear. In the last 2 years I have started using braid a few walleye rods and have been pleased. Avoiding stretch on the hook set is most important to me.

    Tire chain style

I'm going to get either v-bar or studded style chains for my rear tires. My question is in the design... Diamond or horizontal?
  13. I have seen deer out in tamarack swamps that bed down on islands of high ground. I also am a firm believe that in areas where there is alot of hunting pressure deer will always go to the thickest cover they can find. Usually they take the path of least resistance, but they will go to amazing lengths to get to a safety zone. They will be in there especially after the ground freezes and its easier to get in and out.
  14. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt that deer will be within bow range of that stand again anytime soon. I would move 75yds and be out there as much as possible this week.
