ammo -- 10 mm?

The best I found last year was a 50 round box of Winchester 180 grain Full Metal jacket shells. The cost was 10.99. I bought 5 boxes or 250 rounds. I just cannot remember what local store I purchased them at. If it comes to me I will post. I dont think these are made anymore as it was a clearance.

Check out Sportsman guide as I believe they sell Hornady 200 grain 10mm shells fairly reasonable.

I bought some hunting loads from the Internet. Made in Texas - very nice bullet. Cost was about $20 for 50 shells. Do a serach for hunting 10mm bullets.

I hate the lack of variety out there. The Cabela's salesman told me that the gun is dump and I should just shoot a 9mm (said its got more power) and then told me that they do not make the 10mm anymore.

I get sick of those sales people too. They want to sell you the guy at first -- then you buy it and you can't find ammo and then they want to sell you a 9 mm and say your gun is junk. I bought the 10 mm because you can bring it deer hunting.

It is very upsetting.

I just recently got a G20 and went shooting with the American Eagle stuff. I couldn't hit the target to save my butt. Well I thought it was the gun or the ammo and was starting to regret the purchase. Well my brother in law shot it and it was dead on. Then to pour salt in the wound my wife shot it and didn't have a problem with it either. Well so much for blaming the ammo and the gun. Stupid wind.LOL It was my first time shooting a Glock and took a little work to get use to the Safe Action trigger. After a little time I got her dialed right in.

Any other ammo thoughts?

What are you currently shooting for ammo? I went with a speciality place from Texas for hunting loads. American Eagle and other "junk" shells do not work very well.

However, I have noticed that I must clean the 10 mm often as the buildup is very excessive.

You have a nice gun there - maybe buy a box of alternate shells or even handload them.
