That was a fun day, we caught I think 60-65 sturgeon and probably another 20 "other" fish, including one eel, numerous sheephead, carp and channels. We fished for almost 14 hours straight!!

This is my PB to date. Since I just started fishing Sturgeon, I hope to beat it. It was so big I forgot to measure .

Made it out to the Croix last saturday for the first time this year. The largest ones we caught during the contest were in the low 40's. Gonna give it another try this saturday morn. Hopefully run into a 50-60" range fish this time.

Good luck! I am going to look at rods on Friday and maybe get out this weekend to Croix again for one last blast!

We might try further south on river than we have been. A tone of little guys! It did not seem to matter were you were at for size. 60 foot hole to 12 fow, the same size.

One thing, the river has raised up alot. It covers 3-4 more feet of shore line than the week before. We also have seen alot more bait fish in shallow than other weeks. Was also clear skys and almost full moon!
