I know Kyle B and I have got our plans set for tomorrow night. We're fishing an undisclosed location.

Definitely will be out chasing Channels I'm thinking P2 past Downtown St. Paul heard a 53 was caught down that way along with some Fat double digit channel's recently.

Bring your net. Even a 10lbs flat is hard to get up on the deck.

Some times you get to see the same scenery as Nokomis if it is a warm and a nice night .

We will give her about 45- 1 hour and if nothing happens, we move. Nice and lite up and the lawn chairs don't tip over, like they do on rocks.

I got to get in on that 53 action.

I have too much going on this weekend to get out, but hopefully Monday night I will be out on the Miss again. This time with the control item for KOTC! Hopefully I can get into something along the lines of what rugbyguy landed!!

I got an early start with a smallish flathead around 5:30 this morning (Friday). Unfortunately, it was from shore instead of in the kayak. I'm still trying to catch a decent catfish in the kayak. I thought my rod was jinxed, but maybe it is the kayak.

I'll give the kayak a few more tries this weekend.

when you tie into a big hog with the kayak- that'd be a heck of a ride... I watched a vid once of a 45# flattie towing a 14 foot aluminum around... I think the kayak would get up on plane.

I'm sure it would take me for a ride if I was not tied to something. With the high flows now, I don't even trust my anchors. I've been tying off to snags.

Finally broke my kayak jinx last night (Saturday) with a small flathead and two channels. The largest was 27 X 16. I sure hope the pictures on the disposable camera turn out. I haven't registered a channel for KOTC yet.
