RobertELee
It looks like TNT finally got the point. I think people are going to like this new "Wide Open" broadcast. Only 4 1/2 minutes of commercials each hour. I'm really liking the scroll on the bottom.

Meaney
yea, the scroll on the bottom is kinda nice... and they are doing commercials in these smaller "picture in picture" screen...odd, but cool.oh by the way, 17 people are viewing the nascar forum right now....is that a sign or what!!!!!!!!GO 17! RobertELee
WOW!!! What a great finish to the race 5/1000ths of a second between the 26 and 5. Congrats to Jaime McMurray!!
fishing tech
I have to laugh, doesn't McMurry remind you of the guy in the commercial where he challanges the big biker to a dance off. Anyway Ford won a plate race. YEH!!!

eyepatrol
Quote: "Yah" for Jaime, "BOOO" for Jack!!! Ditto! My fantasy points this week are going to suk! (as if they haven't anyway) All my drivers crashed & burned!
Uncle Bill
I am surprised little busch didn't cause "the big one".Regardless of who won the race, the last 40 laps werevery cool. The photo finish was great!Thumbs up to Daytona!
LMITOUT
Yep, I don't see how anyone couldn't like watching races at Daytona. The past two races at Daytona have been two of the closest finishes in Nascar and have set a high bar for the COT next year. It'll be interesting to see how the COT does at 'Dega in the fall....I'm predicting carnage.
TNFL
I recorded the last 3/4 of the race last night. Finished watching it this morning and the DVR stopped with 2 laps left. AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
harvey lee
I really dont watch much of the plate tracks anymore. If I see the last 20 laps thats enough as sometimes pretty boring racing for the majority of the laps.
JohnMickish
Thats why they invented TIVO. Fast forward, pause, rewind all with the clarity of digital. I hardly ever watch them live since they do take so much time but I can watch a 4 hour race in about 1.5 hours, cutting out the comercials and the follow the leader stuff in the middle. lawdog
What in the world is wrong with Tony Stewart? Hamlin says he didn't slow down, but Tony absolutely smacked him from behind and took them both out. Then Stewart has the nerve to complain about how bad of a teammate Hamlin is??? This is why I just can't stop hating this guy...

TNFL
Mr. GiveN'Take takes himself out, what a bone head. Then he has the nerve to belittle his own teammate. Class Act!Go 20, smoke another!!!
Coach Dog
Dito that. Same Stewart, same stuff, different day. Hamlin took the high when asked about it. He should've called out Stewart.
OUTDOORNUT
Maybe Smoke got in his eyes. Distance perception seems to be an issue for Smoke at these plate tracks.
Double D
Wasn't this the guy who complained openly right before the Daytona 500 that someone was going to get killed at Daytona because of the rough driving? My personal opinion is he ran over the 11.DD
TNFL
The 20 reminds me of the 5 only the maturation period is long past for the 20!
PERCHJR
WOW lawdog, HATE is a strong word!!! Anyways you guys think Smoke just came up and had in his mind to take his teammate out and himself also, come on think a little. Of course nobody gets loose when someone gets under his rear, yeah thats it!!! Just another reason for someone to dislike another great driver, god forbid we blame it on NASCAR for making these stupid plate race's so close!!! Perchjr GO #8 and #20, smoke away!!!
