So i am in mid slumber the other night and i dream that i am on the internet watching one of those great hot spot shows and there is good ol dietz fishing this new kind of frog. it was a frog much like the berkely ones only when you gave it little twitches the apendages where hooked up to a string mechanism and it swam EXACTLY like a real frog. it was surreal. That is why it must have been a dream. Any way so dietz has this thing tied on he throws it up towards shore and jiggles it like it is try to escape onto shore an this fish comes all the way out of the water to eat it. When i woke up that morning my heart was still in adrenaline mode. So although i find it a tad bit creapy i dreamt about another man, thanks for the dream dietz

Dude... thats kinda scary...

However I have seen a topwater from that when you cast it pulls on a cord that goes into the mouth of the frog that winds up its iner mech and then kicks its hind legs. Kinda like a kids toy.. then when the legs quit kicking, you could give the frog a jerk and re-pull the cord winding it up again.

Looked kinda cheep, but was expensive if I remember right.

Ya there is a lure like that. It's called the moto chug. Chuck Woolery from the love connection is the one who invented it if that tells you anything. Sad to say I did buy a couple and they actually catch some fish but I definatly wouldn't try to pattern anything for a tournament on it. Was just something different so of course I had to buy it.

That takes a lot of courage to say you dreamed about another man. I hope you get all your problems worked out. If you need more help dealing with this, you know you can turn here for support. If it was me that had the dream, I don't think I would ever look at the backs of eyelids again.

Ike, I have a bit a Psychology background. Dream interpretation is of course subject to interpretation. However, in the dream you share you demonstrate a fixation on a paticular male character, one Mr. Dietz, a pole, and something you view in your dream as "a twitching frog" that combined with you sharing this on line one could almost interprete this as some type of "coming out of the closet" revolation smile.gif

And as Seinfield would say "Not that there is anything wrong with that"

Oh boy. Ike.... It really has been a long winter, eh? I did dream about bowhunting the other night, but it was just me and the deer.

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
