Minnesota Rich Movies

Actors/Actresses wise, not locations. I know 2 that have alot of Minnesotans in them: Old School has Vince Vaughn, Seann William Scott and Craig Kilborn- all born in Minnesota. Another one is Reality Bites- Winona Ryder, Steve Zahn and Soul Asylum lead singer Dave Pirner (in a 5 second, one line role) were also all born here.

My brother-in-law and his father tended horses and had some footage in Iron Will.

How about our own Wabasha (More Red Wing town shots than actual Wabasha shots) in Grumpy Old Men I and II? And Josh Hartnett is one of our own: not too big, but a serious actor none-the-less. I heard Jeff Daniels is currently living in our Eastern neighbor and does a lot of RVing around the country.

I'm a Minnesotan and for those of you that didn't know, I was the stunt double for Arnold Schwartzenager in "Conan The Barbarian".

I've been approached by Stallones people to act as his double in the next Rocky episode...."Rocky Wrinkles Makes A Come Back!"

How about the first Mighty Ducks movie?

OK, a guy I work with. His sister is dating the "girl" blush.gif who was the figure skating hockey player. "not that there's anything wrong with that". I'm not making this up.

I was a skating extra in the first mighty ducks... alot of skating for about 60 secs of screen time. But, I tis really cool to see MN get some attention every once in a while. Not everything in this world hgappens in LA or NY. Oh yea, Grumpy Old Men; Great grandma's house was used in the film. She got new paint and a little landscaping, and her house is the big white one on the corner. It is in east St. Paul near aldrich ice arena.

Cut! Quit on the set! Rolling! over and over again!! But it was cool to see my self on the big screen! smile.gifsmile.gif
