pink

i know color is awefully controversial but how many guys use pink/ bubble gum colors.

i was on a very clear lake last year and i was fishing an area that had recieved quite a bit of pressure. i couldn't catch them but could see them. i put on a pink shakey head and caught more than i was catching doing anything else. It didn't make much sense to me but i wasn't complaining. So how many of you use pink. ike

Guilty, I've found pink to be a big bass color for some reason. I also like merthoilate?sp. its a darker redish-pink

Hiya -

I like bright colors - pink, methiaolate, school bus yellow, all white - for smallies. Great grub colors when they're really snapping. Put a 4" pink grub on a 1/2 oz ballhead and crank it as fast as you can. Also really good for soft stickbaits like Super Flukes and Slug-gos. I fish them on spinning gear with fireline so you can cast 'em a mile, but tough to feel hits sometimes, so I fish bright colors just so I can see the bait. When it disappears, set the hook...

I have used it for finding smallies but its not my go to color just a color i have tried.

I have used pink on many heavily pressured lakes and have had great results,give a pink spinnerbait,fluke and worms. Cotton candy tubes work well for smallies

My girlfriend only uses pink. When she comes to a fishing store with me and she sees a pink lure, she gets it for herself and then wants me to tell her how to use that random lure she picked up. I only let her purchase good lures though, not some gimmick lure.

i've had good luck using a pink floating lizzard around broken weeds.kind of scares you when suddenly a big open mouth, comes up and slurps it up and takes off with it!

I can't say that I have used Pink much. I know Al Lindner swears by a pink X-Rap for Smallies. I still haven't played with Pink though but I did get a couple Pink baits to give them there fair shake.

Haven't used pink much for bass but i had great success in canada northern fishing with pink. Matter of fact i've got a pink x rap and shad rap "retired", hanging on the wall. This year i plan on learning a lot more about bass fishing and will have to keep the PINK in mind.
