Harmonica Bear
I just heard Heather Locklear got divorced so she would work out quite nicely. However, I'd have to say my Dad. He wasn't much of a fisherman (my mom was the fishaholic), but oh he loved to just sit in the boat, relax, watch and talk about life. He could do that for hours. As well as listen to the Twins. Man, you have no idea how much I miss that stuff. Also, I think authors Jim Harrison, Thomas McGuane, Robert Ruark or Hemingway would be pretty cool. DaBigDog
I'd spend the day with my hero, my Dad. He left us all to soon, and there were things left unsaid. He always enjoyed Mille Lacs in winter (whether it was spearing monster Northerns, or jerking jumbo Perch), and small, off the beaten path lakes in summer for slab sunnies.I sure do miss him... Bassboy1645
Dad died When I was a young boy. Both my mom and my dad taught me the basics of what I know now. Id love to fish a day with dad. Id ask a bajiilion questions im guessing and Id have to show him all this new technology and whats new in the fishing world in the last 14 years. Of course hed make sure im doign good and Hed be soo proud of who I am today. If not my dad Id love to fish with my old neighbor chris. A few yrs after my dad died he moved to Mn From CA. He loved to fish and he showed me the ropes on how to fish trout and in turn I showed him how to tackle bucketmouth bass. We fished and hunted all over the state through my adolesecnt and teen yrs. He fell victim to meth a few years ago and he just up and left. I havent seen or heard form him much since then. Its soo sad how the best of pepole are the ones who are gone from you life first

Would have loved to have my grandfathers in the boat with me now!
lookincalifornia
the last time i fished with my grandpa stensland, we were ice fishing. it was his first time on the ice ever. after years of riding in his boat on rush lake(ottertail co.) now i was the guide. he got skunked while i got a dozen or so gills. i know how darth vader must have felt when he fought obi wan. 'now i am the master'. i would have loved to have control of the boat just once with gramps at the bow. that being said, the one person i can't wait to fish with will be MY first grandchild. i'm only 32, so hopefully i'll have a long wait. Jim Almquist
I would really like to say Halle Berry but I know that I still like fishing with my brothers and friends so much that they would come in first.I heard that she will not put live bait on her hook so that is why she is is a distant third
Wormdrowner
we have a 21 year old handicapped son, confined to bed or wheelchair, has never spoken. Always tell him we will go fishing one day. He always has his rod out when I go fishing, catch and release only. I've often wondered what the Game Warden would say about that extra pole, quess I don't really care. Weed Shark
I've been fortunate to fish alot with my dad until he passed. I'm taking my family of 5 to Canada in June. So I'll just throw out some interesting thoughts.John Wayne, if I had a bigger boat. I've heard he was genuine.I hear Les Kouba used to drink "Orangu-tang" (spiked Tang) with Jim Peterson of Outdoor News. Les, in a boat, with Orangu-tang?....it'd have to be interesting.I once fished in Canada with a 80 year-old neighbor who fought in the Pacific theater and almost died there, amazing stories, I treasure that.
