12 Volt DC fan

Can somebody tell me where I can get a 12 Volt fan for my fish house? The last time up fishing, my one hole next to the furnace stayed clear as a bell. The hole far from the furnace was constantly freezing up. If I could mount a small fan above the hole, I am sure this would take care of the problem. But, where can I find one??? Thanks

Depending how big a fan you want you can try an auto parts store or maybe a computer fan from radio shack I've even seen them at northern tool in the dollar bins or depending on where you live axe man has them also. hope this helps some.

Try a camper motor home dealer I get most of my camper gear and my 12V fan at one.

The 12 volt computer fans you can pick up new at Radio Shack. They are brushless so you will not have any issues with noise in your radio or TV.

You could also try going to Gndr Mntn, pick up a battery powered fan. It's what I use in my portable.

It runs on "D" batteries and puts out a surprisingly strong flow.

It's got a magnet, with a metal plate, basically used for tents, and I "mount" it so it blows down and over the buddy heater, keeping the heat from bunching up at the top.

I'm replacing 4 fans in my house...all computer fans. For a case of beer, you can come over and get them.

Me too. Sure they are quiet, but what good is quiet if they don't move enough air?

I need a bigger fan, like in the cab of a semi, over my heater.

Boilerguy, I have the fan like you are talking about above my heater. It works very good but is VERY noisy! If anyone knows of a quieter alternative, I am all ears.
