Northlander (or anyone who likes Amsoil in there Strikemaster) - should I buy the ATP (Professional) Amsoil 2 cycle oil or the ATO (outboard) Amsoil oil for my new strikemaster? Thanks. Can you only get Amsoil online or can you pick it up at the local auto parts store?

Ok...I think I figured it out. From the Amsoil site...it looks like I should run the ATP Sabre Professional 100:1 stuff. Now...to track it down. Anyone knows who sells it in Forest Lake, MN?

Thanks guys. I'm interested to try this stuff out after all the good posts about it.

AMSOIL Saber Professional, product code ATP, is best in all air cooled pre-mix 2-cycle engines.

AMSOIL Saber Outboard, product code ATO, is best in all water cooled pre-mix 2-cycle engines.

The water cooled engines operate at much cooler temperatures than the air cooled engines.

The ATO will work in the air cooled machines, but the ATP is the best choice.

Yes, there are some stores and shops that sell some AMSOIL products, but if you order on-line through my link you are supporting Fishing Minnesota. If you order on-line you save the hassle of hunting it down - sometimes a lot of time and trouble - and most receive on-line orders in 1 or 2 business days (AMSOIL ships from the closest regional distribution center: Superior, WI or Chicago, IL for most on here).

UPS ships to anywhere in Minnesota in one day. I was suprised how quick it got to me and I really like the email notification that it was sent. Seems to me I ordered on Thursday and had it in my hands on Monday. Awsome stuff too. I looked all over Brooklyn Park and could not find it including Gander, Fleet Farm, Home Depot and Mynards.

I won't repost where, but it is available in the metro, and probably in most larger cities. That is where I've picked up my Sabre and 0w-40 as they had most of the line.

Thanks for the information. I just ordered some online...wow...that was easy!

Sniper -

The formerly Citgo / now Shell station in Wyoming carries all of the oils for you.

It's where I get my oil when my supply runs out.

I will say though, you probably only want to get it there in a pinch, the 100:1 runs about $1 / ounce.
