I FOUND ICE!!!

Little pond next to our shop has a slushy glaze about 1/2 way across.

Dont think its quite thick enough to pull the house out yet!!!

I found Ice also, a little pond across from Little green in Chisago had ice along the edge. Also found it in the puddles along the roads/driveways

Its almost time!!!! soon the channel will be frozen over and we will be testing it again!

Had a few snowflakes here in NE SD yesterday...was mid-20s when I went to work this morning...supposed to be colder tonight, too.

I just need a few nice weekends for some pheasant hunting, but then it can give me some ice for Thanksgiving...

I almost did a double take at the pond I drive past each day on my way to work. The part of the pond that didn't have an outlet had all skim ice and the other small bay had skim ice too!

SO what if it is a small pond. Skim ice is ice in my book!

"Huh!!!" I have everyone beat! I found ice in the bed of my pick up.......LAST YEAR!

Here's another early ice sighting.... Ice formed on the relationship with one of our new neighbors, way back in August, when I caught the father and son team in what I believe to be an effort to pinch a couple of gas cans out of one of our trailers that was parked on the street. That ice formed quick and there will be no thawing!
