The Twins can now be compared to the Buffalo Bills or the Atlanta Braves in a way.

Can't win the big one........... 4 of last 5 years to the playoffs and not even a world series appearance.

totaly agree with you on that, its really bad if you look at it. Yeah you make it to the playoff's 4 of the last 5 years but dont do dump once you get there. I look at it this way, its a Minnesota sports team they get you all pumped up for the playoff's then all of a sudden they rip your heart out and I am use to this by now.

I was talking to a friend about this. We have a great time all year and cheer and love all of their accomplishments. They win a big series or even the division or confrence. That is where they have looked and prepared for. Period. The teams and players "Dream" of the post season, but they are relatively in awe of being there. It also rips my heart out when I am passionate about the year and nothing more comes out. I also want to say that even though we are not players, the fans have a similar feeling or emotion when our "guys" are on the field.

I'll take an invitation over being ignored anyday. Last year's dance ended a long time ago - so stop dreamin' about it - when the WSox got close, the queen put on the ol' safety belt, if YOU know what I mean, and when the WSox found out, they slithered away into losers territory without putting up a fight. It was the Twins who never gave up and deserve the Division Champ title they took away while your guys were dreaming about the queen. Ozzie and the guys must have been thinkin' with the wrong, what did you call it, johnsomething, while the Twins thought about how to get invited to this year's dance.

I love the way that you and Windy talk to everyone. Like some old vets of baseball powerhouses. Please remeber that although we have not made a World Series in our last four playoff tries we have won 2 World Series in our last 6 tries. Would you like to discuss any further the title runs of you Sox since the early 1900's?

The Sox had an amazing run last year but if they can't back that up with more playoff appearances and more titles they were nothing more than this centuries title and the new cry will be wait until 2106.

You guys are kind of like the kids in high school who missed every dance because they couldn't find a date and then finally at the senior prom, everything fell into place. The good looking jocks were gone, the chaperones weren't looking, and your internet date was a little tipsy. Next thing you know, you finally make the score. Well said fishyguy! I too am sad that the twins season is over, but just look at the young nucleus they have to build from! The twins have always been a smart business team by not selling there future for the present. Year in and year out the twins will always be making some noise and eventually the will get a title for #7 and the rest of the stallions! Maybe next year somebody could turn the lights on in the cellar for Windy and Jim because that is where his SUX will be!

I know its hard for white sox fans, after all they win the series and are still 2nd fiddle to the cubs in chicago.

How is it not a dissapointment....errrr CHOKE that the White Sox not only win the series, but greatly improve their team in the following offseason, and end up 3rd in a division and not in playoffs, cant wait for the series to be over this year so fellow sox fans canstop playing the world series trump card.
