Vanes

Anyone use quikspin vanes? Do you see a difference in accuracy? Should I stick with conventional models?

I switched to quick spin vanes this year as I have heard so much that was good about them.I have not shot them yet.

I shot Quick spinns last year... and was pleased with the arrow flight. I will shoot them again this hunting season.

I have heard they work good but they are less durable

I was using Quick Spins earlier this year...and they seemed to work just fine. I think they do slow your arrow down a little over long distance...but not enough for me to care. I did find that they didnt last very long if shot thru a WB arrow rest..or if you shoot thru a foam layered target..the vanes get wavie. I switched over to Blazers and have been very happy. HOWEVER, I have recently seen a new set of Quick Spins that are called Speed Hunters. The look just like the 2inch Blazers but have the "kicker" and grooves as reguler Quick Spins. I also heard they are a little stronger then the original. I might give them a try.

I just switched to quickspins from the standard goldtip vanes and was impressed. I thought the quickspins would be louder going through the air, but were actually quieter. I used the 3 1/4" size.
