Where to buy electronics???

I'm looking for a new(er)locator for the bow of my boat, or a combo GPS/locator for the stern. I've been watching HSOList lately but I might buy something new this time. Looking for suggestions on where to buy. Online works for me also.

Go to Marine General. Call them and ask about show specials they always seem to have some deals on different units.

I have had the best luck and found the best prices on hsolist. Plus you pay no sales tax and that can add up on electronics purchases.

Check out Wade at Jolly marine. He is out of iowa and ships next day to your house free and matches prices. I am very happy with the Lowrance 332 I got from him for $599 w/no tax.

Wow, that LCX17 from Reeds if it has GPS antenna it's a heck of a good deal. I can't believe the price $ 449.00

And I know some people is trying to sell me a used LCX15 for $ 400.00......

You can't go wrong with any of them. You probably want it now, but if you wait until winter you can buy it at one of the sports shows. They are usually willing to deal a little more at the shows.

Jolly Ann marine is the place. No sales tax, free shipping and great service. Wade is also a very good fisherman. He knows his stuff and will give steer you in the right direction. Have any questions zip him an email and he will respond within a few hours at worst.

Not sure if this is universal, but I understand the mark-up on electronics is typically pretty low - most places don't make a ton of money on electronics sales...

I'd agree with the MArine General plug - Russ has been known to cut a deal or two in his day...
