JohnMickish
Did anyone else pick the #24 to win or am I the lone ranger here?
harvey lee
Very high risk pick.He is good for a week and then he looks like Jr.
JohnMickish
I'll agree with the high risk but out of all the drivers in the chase (when it starts and if Gordon makes it) he is more than capable of not finishing out of the top 5 in any race.I'd really like to see the Biff take it. He would be the first driver with a truck, Busch and cup championship.
lawdog
I think right now the 24 is finally hitting on all cylinders. If that keeps up until Chase time, you can bet the other 9 will be more than a little worried about having him around...

JohnMickish
A "maybe". Lee, we have to get together sometime this winter on the ice and talk! Maybe at the cool cats event?
eyepatrol
I've got the 24 winning it all. He'd be much higher in the points standings if he hadn't had some of the run-ins he's had this year. Stewert & Kenseth to name a couple.
harvey lee
I know its just me,but I dont believe he has the fire he once had when he was a real winner. He seems to have slowed.I believe he can win some races but with all the drivers that can do good week after week,he is a hard one to pick to go all the way.At 25 to 1 then I would take him. Sutty
I have him winning as well, I think burton and johnson were my other two

The team has been off and they seem to just be figuring out these new setups. I think there is only one way a guy can drive at that level and that's all out. You don't get to be a four time champion (should be five) and have 75 wins by not having a tremendous competitive drive and awesome skills. That doesn't just go away. If he didn't want to drive and win, he wouldn't still be out there. He certainly doesn't need the money anymore and all that there is for him is to keep winning and adding his name to the few records he doesn't already own... harvey lee
Lawdog Every team that is not doing well this year can say we have been off and we just need to figure things out.Either your team and driver have it or they are farther back in the points.I am not saying he isnt good,I am saying there team as a whole is not doing real well this year.Look at Biffle,he is also better than where he is in the points but thier team is off.Any team can sooner or later find the right set up and win but who can do it most of the time?Heck he is still in a fight to make the top ten.Thats what makes this chase more interesting, you must do well in the first 26 or you will not make the main event. All teams have bad luck during these first races and the team with the best team and a little luck will make the final 10.I am sure they have a set up book and the talent to run better than they are but they are not, just like many others from 8th to 15th.Time will tell, but I still wont bet anything on his team this year. NAPAFISH
Maybe hes the same and everyone else has gotten better. I would be that either Smoke, Kenseth or Johnson will win the next 3 to 5 championships. As The Harv pointed out earlier JR and Jeffy seem to be lacking the consistent finishes
Sifty
NAPAFISH, one team that seems to have things turned around is the RCR cars. If they can keep this going it would not suprise me to see a couple of his cars running for the cup the next few years.Sifty
