when fishing texas style with power pro.. would you suggest to have a mono leader or tie on directly to the power pro.. I love the sensitivity i get with the power pro..just feel like i do not catch as many fish.. and think i might break off more with the mono leader.. Any suggestions?

Many will probably say a floro leader instead of a mono leader. i will be watching this thread to see though. I don't know much most of the water i fish is chocolate milk and i feel like i can use pp tied direct and get away with it however i have used floro leader just for piece of mind several times. good luck, ike

I use PowerPro directly to my T-rig almost 100% of the time. Almost every bass tournament that I am fishing in central MN this summer has Eurasion Milfoil in it, so I am worried more about being able to get the fish out of the slop then I am about line visability. Same goes for dock fishing. The PowerPro just makes me more confident that I can horse the fish out, instead of having to finesse it out. I think line visability is a lot bigger issue in the clear resevoirs down south than it is in the natural lakes around here. When I fish mono or flouro it is for the more natural movement with the lighter line than it is for visability.
