2 Big Browns in 1 Day (Pics)

I caught these 2 Browns last Saturday. They both fell for a #10 Floating Rapala and were released.

A fish of a lifetime for many of us and you got 2 in 1 day. Way to go! With the advances in graphite reproductions, there is no need to keep a trophy like these. A reproduction of either of these fish would look fantastic. Thanks for sharing and giving us an opportunity to catch em.

I was with my father-in-law who I was trying to put on to some big browns. I quess I would make a terrible guide as he didn't catch anything. My personal best in the part of the river I was fishing is 27 inches. I am holding out on a replica until I catch one greater than 28 inches. I almost always throw Rapala's (Floating,Husky Jerk and X-Rap) and have always had good luck with the black/silver and Brown Trout colored lures.

Before anyone gets too excited about maybe putting one of these big browns on the wall or,on the grill,this particular stream has been put ALMOST entirely under mandatory c&r for all trout,beginning this year.Thank God
