  1. I'll second that. Excellent temp control with a smokey mountain. I need to get a couple pork butts again. It has been awhile.
  2. Then I will go with a Shorthead Redhorse. I think the spots on the base of the scales belong to the shorthead.
  3. There is a reason Carlisle tires get the nickname of C-Bomb! I know several people that have had trailers and boats damaged from exactly what happened to you. When they go, they come apart and take things with it. Not saying all Carlisle tires are going to blow. The failure rate of a Carlisle may be no worse than other brands, but they do have a history of destruction when they do fail. Like others have mentioned, 4 years is about all you want for a trailer tire. They may look good on the outside, but they breakdown on the inside due to heat.
  4. Very nice Steve! 1/15 sec hand held! Image stabilization or not...that is one steady hand you've got.
  5. Tom and I are heading there this weekend. We plan on fishing the breakwall on Sunday.
  6. Hello Steve! I am still here. I hate to admit it, but my camera hasn't experienced many clicks of the shutter lately, but I do stop in from time to time and enjoy the great work so many people contribute. Bought a new boat last year and have been giving it a good workout. With the Mississippi River not far away, waiting for ice out and openers is a thing of the past. Do a lot of fishing with our mutual friend Tom. He finally decided to take his tackle making skills to the internet. I spent a lot of my free time this winter designing his web site. I did all the product photos for him as well. If you do a google search for crappie tackle and add his first name in there, you should be able to find it. I am going to have to make the time to get out with the camera a bit more. Thanks for thinking of me.
  7. I bought a product called Deer Stopper last year. I had problems with deer eating my beans and cucumbers. After my first application, I didn't have another issue. I found it at Lowes in Rochester.
  8. That is one cold looking Robin. Glad to see spring is near though!
  9. Nice! That first photo is a winner!
  10. Well done! The first one is excellent! Nice background and the mallard is well exposed.
  11. Great job on all, but the second is my favorite.
  12. Second photo gets my vote. Did you have to use ND filters to slow down the shutter speed on such a bright scene?
  13. Tough to pick a favorite. You took some very nice photos Mike.
  14. I'll put in my vote for #3. Great capture!
  15. Thanks Paul. I am sure some of my employees would love to see some photos of the finished product.
  16. Nice job Paul. I believe that is the old Ford building centered in the photo. The windows that were installed during the restoration are from the window company I work for. It was a huge project for us. I always wanted to see a photo of that building after the restoration. A lot of our employees put a lot of time and effort into building those windows to the rather unusual specs that this project called for. This is the first I have seen the finished project. Thanks for sharing. If you have any closer photos of that building, I'd love to see them.
  17. Nice shots Jay! One of these days I'll have to make the trip up to the Bog. Looks like it is a great place to visit.
  18. Great stuff as always Steve. That owl shot is fabulous!
  19. Very nice shots Mike! I like them all.
  20. What a great way to celebrate the holiday weekend. Looks like a fun time and a real nice fish.
  21. Great shot Stu. That is a great find and an even better photo!
  22. That's a lot of ducks! Great capture of the eagles hunting. Must have been awesome to witness.
