mnhunter2
I need some help finding a good gps that has a chargeable battery and that is easy to use and enter and extract data, I know nothing about operating one or the new features that are being addded. What would be a fair price range to look at?

0 cliffy
Yup, another vote for the H2o. I have had one for a couple years and they are very simple to use. I have seen the color model in the range of 229.00 and the non-color model around the 145.00 range.

0 Cliff Wagenbach
I have the I-Finder Pro and think it is a great unit!Very easy to operate and there are some great lake chips available for it from Lowrance/LakeMaster too.Cliff
0 Northlander
I have the H2Oc and love it as well. It chews up batterys so I recomend rechargables as you stated. The color makes reading land from water and markers much easier. I had the mono H2O and took it back for the color. I have seen them for $195 on line. 0 HaywardBound
I use a Duracell 1 hour charger, so I don't have to wait long to charge a set of batteries. It charges 4 AA or 4 AAA batteries. The batteries I use are Energizer. Try to get the higher mAh (2500). I use them in everything, and work great in my digital camera.I always have an extra set in the charger, so I just put in fresh batteries before I go out. I like to keep my iFinder plugged into the cig lighter, that way the backlight is always on.Get yourself a RAM mount, and you are all set.
