Does anyone know where I can get my Lazer Mag 2000 8" blades re-sharpened or exchanged? And approx. cost. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Same problem. I have hand auger lazer blades that aren't cutting well. Have had this auger over 10 years, very noticeable difference this particular year in terms of cutting. What can I do to get it cutting awesome again? Minnetonka outdoors? New blades? A sharpener?

Looks like Prior Lake Sports has re-sharpened blades-make sure you bring old one's in for exchange.

Call Strikemaster and they will send you some or you can go there and exchange them.

Yep, Check Strikemasters web page. I can't remember which icon its under, but it gives you a few options, and much cheaper than new blades.

You can buy a Strikemaster Laser blade sharpener for $9.99.

I bought mine at Marvin Home Store in Warroad.

I'm sure they sell 'em at other stores too...

I resharpened the blades for my hand auger using my Lansky knife sharpening kit. However, they are the relatively straight blades, not the heavily curved ones.

They did get WICKED sharp though and cut like gangbusters...
