Here is a picture that I took down the spear hole. If you look at the left side of the hole very closely you can see a small northern coming to take a bite out of the minnow. I did not spear the fish. The spear is in the picture but put there just for the picture. I think it turned out pretty cool.

The flash did not spook the northern. He just wanted to keep coming back to get his picture taken. I kept jerking the minnow away from him as he went to attack.

Like looking into a big Aquarium.

It is great to get someone out in the spear shack that have never had the experience before.

I had a new guy out in the shack one time and a big 8-9 pound northern came shooting in and grabbed the minnow. This guy just about fell off his chair it spoked him so bad.

I could tell about 20 more stories but that was a classic.
