MuskyBug85
I have both and i was just wondering what you guys prefer.
Quackaddict9
I have both. You know what we all like... Big Foots for the better durability and GHG for the realism but needs improvement on foot base but mine are holding up great though. So, I love both! poutpro
The new hardcores are pretty nice they are kind of expensive but you can sometimes find them on sale for not muck more that Bigfoots. They are a one peice mold so there is no worrying about the heads breaking like the GHG's.
IceHawk
I prefer the bigfoot's for durability. The greenhead gear honkers are nice but for my money bigfoot's definately win out of these 2. I also have been encorporateing Hard-cores slowly into my spread. Expensive but you get durability and they definately look lifelike. I plan on addding more each year as these decoys have really impressed me!!
Bushwacker
I have all GHG right now, but I am very disappointed in the durability of them. I have 4 dozen. 2 doz. 2004 and 2 doz. 2005, but they look like they have been hunted for about 10 years. I am extremely careful with them, packing them in layes with blankets in between, but they still look very rough. BigFoot is releasing their new decoys in April and they will have flocked heads, more detailed paint, a new pose or two, and the possibilty to add on motion bases. I will definitely wait to see them in person before I buy any more decoys. It has always been durability vs. realism, but hopefully the new BigFoots will be the best of both worlds. Nova
I personally don't have any full bodies, but for shells I don't think you can beat greenhead gear. I have 6 dozen of them now some are 4 years old and they look like new. The realism of these is unmatched in my book.
poutpro
I'll be interested in seeing the new big foots. They are without a doubt the most durable decoys. If they were more realistic, theyd be tough to beat.
koutdoors
I would save your money and buy the new foots as well. New poses, more realism, and even the possibility of a cackler decoy??????? As for shells, I know GHG's are nice, but you MUST try the new Higdon shells. They are MUCH more durable than the GHG shells and IMO look better. I highly recommend them! They are piled in my trailer with all my others.I will lok at getting some of the new BFs, I hear they will be nice. I will also add some more GHGs. Redwalleye
What are these "new" bigfoots you guys speak of? are something new for 06 or the 05s. If so where do you find em I have both and noticed few differences. Bigfoots are tough, big decoys and with flocking still look good. But Greenheads, In my opinion are better looking how everI dont have time to shove heads in socks all day. I have been puting bout 3 doz GHG to the front and edges of my spread and using my big foots as filler decoys it seems to land em close.
jblabsnduck
The talk is that the new foots coming out in April(what I heard) is that they will have flocked heads, more posses and more feather detail.I think Clinton decoys(BF) realizes that they need to keep up with the change going on.I hope they look nice. I am sure I will buy at least a dozen to add to my spread.
poutpro
When are the new Bigfoots going to be introduced? Will they be here for the early goose season this coming fall?

IceHawk
I saw a picture of Big-Foots new full body line-up for 2006. The decoys look nice, they have flocked heads and a little more lifelike feather detail. I am looking forward to also adding a few of these to my set-up. Now you get the best of both worlds durability and realisim all in one!!

waltinader
I like greenhead gear better because it looks more realistic than big foots

riverrat56
I've got a dozen GHG fullbodys, they look nice, but 2 of the foot bases dont fit, not raelly a problem I just set them in the grass to look like resters, but when you shell out that much cash for something you expect them to work.Looking at adding some more full bodys this summer, will be big foots for sure....more durable and the GHG will add some realism that the bigfoots lack, I will be buying some old ones that are sitting at the store in town for about 4 years now if they still are around in a month or so....For the money I'd go with Bigfoots, but if you need to add numbers and quality isn't your main thing, GHG gives you more bang for your buck. NEANGLER
River Rat, just call xutomer service and they should replace those bases for you. i have dealt with them a couple of times and they were real nice and took care of the problem. I have both - I would like to see the 2006 BF as the only thing with the GHG is you have to be a little carfeul with them but they look way better. riverrat56
thanks for the tip NEANGLER, might not happen anymore as I worked real hard with my pocket knife to get them to fit, but its worth a shot...and he's right GHG do look much better than Bigfoots.I believe that Avery makes a fullbody that may be the best of both worlds, but they run in the area of 130 for 4 if I rember right.
