herculiner bed liner

I am looking for a bed liner for my truck and was wondering if anyone has used it and what you think of it. Any opinions/advise would be much appreciated.

I did the Herculiner on my Silverado and it worked great, it is very easy to put on and it only costs around $50. I have abused it quite a bit and it's held up great with no cracks or chips at all. I'm going to use it to repaint my boat trailer if it ever starts getting rusted out. Save the $300 and buy some more fishing equipment

I also did the herculiner on my truck and it looks great and also has held up great too. I did use the UV protectant. I would recommend using that because it will fade without it. I have also used the duplicolor brand bed liner and that stuff sucks half of it had flaked off within 2 years and I followed the directions to a T.

Do it yourself, not as hard as you would think. Give yourself about 2 hrs and read destructions and you'll be happy.

I depends on how you use your truck. If you are hauling stuff all the time you might want Rino or Line-x. I put it in my truck last year and it has held up pretty good. I usally always have something in my box to. It was way worth the money to me $50 as compared to around $500 for Rino or Line-x. It was very easy to install they had great instructions on Herculiners web page. It fools all the boys at work they all think that I have a spray in. Two of my buddies and I all did ours last spring and I positive that none of us regreted it. In my mind the only people that need to us Line-x or Rino are contractors. I bet about 80% of those that have their trucks rinoed or line-x don't need it and herculiner would be just fine. I was a very satisfied customer of herculiner.

Thank you all for the responses. I think that I will try the Herculiner and spend the rest of the money on a new tonneau cover.
One more question on the Herculiner though.

I had originally planned on putting in a bed mat because I didn't want anything to slide around. Is the Herculiner soft/tacky so things don't slide around too much?

Stuff in the back of your truck won't slide around at all, it is very tacky. When you apply the material the first coat is very thin, after it is dry, the second coat can be dabbed on much thicker. I used an old paint brush, the roller they supply didn't work that well for me. I found it easier to just dab the stuff on. Prep work and good taping is vital for the whole project to turn out well.

OK so I might be little dumb when it comes to this. What is the difference between line-x,rinno and hercliner? Was recommended to me to put the stuff on the leaky roof of my fishhouse. Is that the same stuff as "rubber paint"?

I have a alumacraft lunker and put some herculiner on the flat part back by the motor. Man it works like a charm. I have had more comments about that than anything else on the boat. Opps I have shared a secret.
