Quivers

What do you guys do with your quivers. I know when I climb up into my stand I have it on but when I get situated I take it off. The way I look at it is then the bow will be lighter so I can hold my bow more steady. Just my thinking what do you guys do.

I practice with my quiver on and leave it on when I'm in the stand, I don't want to hassle with hanging it, and accidently having it fall down, plus its easy to forget that hanger in the tree. Right now in my quiver are three arrows with broadheads and one arrow with a judo point, by practice arrows with field points are just loose in the bow case.

I have a backpack quiver that I take off and hang. I don't like the bow mounted quivers cause like said earlier they are extra movement for the deer to pick up and they could be distracting when you are shooting.

Permenant mount quiver, the take off might work but its one less thing you have to deal with. My quiver has never gotten in the way and I dont have far to reach for another arrow if needed.I would hate to think of the movement needed to get another arrow incase you miss.I dont feel that my quiver hinders me in any way including any movement. After 30 plus years of bow hunting and always using a permanant quiver I personally wouldnt change for the simple reason is that it works.
