Current water temps

Due to bowhunting I haven't been on the water in a couple weeks and am curious what the water temps are at in the Metro area lakes as I'm due east.

I was on the Rum river in anoka today and the water was 57 degrees

66 degrees last on Sept 26 on White Bear Lake.

I was out yesterday (west of Hutchinson) and the lake I was on had a surface temp of 65°.

I had 65 on my Lowrance on the west end of 'tonka today, mid-afternoon. Mark Stanley had 63 (posted above). Must be differences in equipment... I'm sure his is better!

I had 63-64 today near Madison Lake(Mankato).

Anyone else notice from Duluth to the Cities we are looking at the same temps? so much for a temp change as you head south. Will be interesting to watch this as we get a little deeper into fall.

St. Louis River near Duluth yesterday: 61 deg average.

Fished the Croix Saturday, Oct 1st. The water temps were 64-66 degrees.

Thanks much, trying to figure out when to start hitting the muskies. Probably give it another week or two, depending on the weather. BTW - what are typical surface temps when turnover occurs? I know there are lots of variables, but whats a general range?
