Fat Rap guy
It doesn't look good for Javon Walker......Green Bay Packers wide receiver Javon Walker appears to have suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee when he went down with an injury in the third quarter of the Packers' 17-3 loss to the Lions, Packers head coach Mike Sherman said in his post-game news conference. If so, the injury would likely sideline the Pro Bowl wide receiver for the rest of the season."It's ACL, as I understand," said Sherman. "You really can't make a determination on that until you get an MRI on that tomorrow. But, he certainly was not able to come back in this ball game - and I doubt anytime in the near future." Down to Earth
I saw that report as well today. Could end up being an even longer season that originally planned. I was actually surprised on how the O-line played. Didn't think it was all that bad considering the 2 new guys at guard. Could gel nice by the end of the year. Gonna have to find ways to put points up on the board.

james_walleye
Last year i had Steve Smith as a starting reciever, this year my number 1 reciever was Javon Walker. The vikings get beat, Walker gets hurt and my fantasy team gets lit up, and i didnt do worth a dump in my pick em league. I guess week 2 can only get better, cant get worse. Juan Grande
I hear you guys. I'm not a Packer fan, but I did have Javon Walker on two of my three teams. He's the only player I have on more than one team. Losing your #1 WR week one really hurts. It was that dang turf that did it. You could totally see his knee lock up right before he went down. I thought Ahman Green looked pretty good. Too bad they couldn't have given him more carries.
Outdoors_guy
I guess the only good thing about walker getting hurt is that I have Donald Driver on my fantasy team. Now he should do pretty good this year.
james_walleye
Ok i want some opinions on week 2 packers vs browns. Im in that pickem league, gut feeling tells me picking the packers for big points should be a safe bet. Am i setting myself up for disaster? Any chance the browns beat the pack at Lambeau?? Green&Gold
Rumor has it Ted Thompson brought in Jerome Pathon for a look today. The papers are saying that if he auditions well, look for him to be signed by tomorrow.
united jigsticker
The Pack Attack also contacted Koren Robinson Monday and tried to lure him over...We released him so we didnt have to guarantee the $570,000, and then resigned him.In the meantime, CheeseBay tried to get him on their side...HAHAHA...He said...Uh...No thanks.
