Javon Walker- Torn ACL?

It doesn't look good for Javon Walker......

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Javon Walker appears to have suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee when he went down with an injury in the third quarter of the Packers' 17-3 loss to the Lions, Packers head coach Mike Sherman said in his post-game news conference. If so, the injury would likely sideline the Pro Bowl wide receiver for the rest of the season.

"It's ACL, as I understand," said Sherman. "You really can't make a determination on that until you get an MRI on that tomorrow. But, he certainly was not able to come back in this ball game - and I doubt anytime in the near future."

I saw that report as well today. Could end up being an even longer season that originally planned. I was actually surprised on how the O-line played. Didn't think it was all that bad considering the 2 new guys at guard. Could gel nice by the end of the year. Gonna have to find ways to put points up on the board.

Last year i had Steve Smith as a starting reciever, this year my number 1 reciever was Javon Walker. The vikings get beat, Walker gets hurt and my fantasy team gets lit up, and i didnt do worth a dump in my pick em league. I guess week 2 can only get better, cant get worse.

I hear you guys. I'm not a Packer fan, but I did have Javon Walker on two of my three teams. He's the only player I have on more than one team. Losing your #1 WR week one really hurts. It was that dang turf that did it. You could totally see his knee lock up right before he went down.

I thought Ahman Green looked pretty good. Too bad they couldn't have given him more carries.
