BDR
Best way I have had in years is this Led flashlight by JR's. They are a site sponsor and can be found from the sponsor link.

sdghsdgj
can u post the specifications and price of the light? i cant get to the site, how long does it take to light the jig up and how long does it last?
Northlander
You can find these lights at www.JRstackle.com They work great to light up jigs or look for things and are bright enough to use for walking off the lake at night. A camera flash will give you a more intense glow but doesnt seem to last as long. I hold the JR's Flashlight on my jig for about 30 seconds and move it to all glow areas and it seems to last longer. Im on about 80 hours with my light and its still working great. Use good batteries and it should last a real long time. They are $9.99 on the JR's site and come with a nice lanyard as well. You can also by a mount for them to mount them to your bars in your ice house.
sdghsdgj
80 hours? thats great if it works but how come all the other lights only light it up for like 5 min.?

Northlander
I didnt say it glows your lure for 80 hours! Mine has been on the same battery's for around 80 hours and its still going strong. I think a good set of batterys and a guy may be able to go a good part of the season with one.

slick814
JR's 8 LED light is awesome !!!!!!!! Not only lights up lures like a charm, it doubles as just about the perfect light for insode the portable. Bright enough to see by, but not so bright the fish would notice. I'd say it's been my second best purchase for ice fishing this year, and that's only second to me new portable... Northlander, what does the bar clip look like? I bought my flashlight at Sportsman's up the road, but didn't see any accessories... does it work a lot better than wrapping the lanyard around and around and around the pole? Northlander
I dont really know how to explain it but it was real simular to a mini Ram mount that you could mount to your house poles. Im not sure who was selling them. Joes maybe?
