Karl Gerbshmit....FACT or FICTION

I don't know how many of you listen to Dan Barreiro on KFAN, but this Karl Gerbshmit guy is absolutely hilarious when he has him on. Is this guy really a legit person or is he a character for the show? Half the time I can't tell.

I didn't know KFAN talked sports, everytime I listen to them it was politics or anything else not having to do with sports. For the last couple of years I only listen to either ESPN radio or Sporting News Radio. Much better and more professional programming.

I have heard a lot of Pack fans say almost the same things as Karl, I do believe there is a little Karl in all Packer fans, in some there is a lot of Karl.

Every Packer fan knows a guy who is exactly like this, if you say you don't, it is probably you.

He is funny, but I don't think he's real. I know lots of Packer fans and haven't met one anything like him. I have, however, met Vikings fans that are eerily close.

Karl is Kevin Siefert, a sports writer and friend of Barierro's.
