JohnMickish
Out of your own personal arsenal, if you could only take one rod out with you for a normal day of fishing, which one would you take?
Eric_Kruger
32" ml fast. Good for anything from 1/100th oz jig to a 1/4 oz spoon
pushbutton
A 7.99, am sure discontinued, HT metal spring bobber rod. Have noodles and doodles, meats and trips, and countless power/pro this and that....but that old cheapy is the most versatile rod I own for its overall balance of bite detection and backbone. Yes, there are way better rods out there for more specialized purposes, but again, if I only got to take one rod with to fish a variety of depths, baits, species, and mood of fish.....that would be it. Bobby Bass
7' Falcon rod with the micro guides, great touch and feel, almost impossible to make a bad cast with it and so far has handled everything I have hooked on it. since this is an ice fishing question I guess I need a really big hole to use my rod.. Bobby Bass
I think the 1950 was a better year... but I prefer my 1953 Whirlaway!
Northlander
DH ElDante because I can use it for anything from Perch to eyes.
Scott O.
I would take my Iceaholics Anonymous rod of the year from 2012 courtesy of Bricker's Custom Rods, a 26" ML with a fast tip. Soft enough for panfish bites, but with plenty of backbone for trout, eyes, and pike.
Cyberfish
The Green hornet! That rod catches more fish than Gustafson lies about!!
JuanArellano
Thorne bros quiver stick all my go to rod, for what I like to fish for....
Chad Peterson
The TB Quiver Stick would be my rod! Just saying!
FisH_SLaYer24
The Green hornet! That rod catches more fish than Gustafson lies about!! Hahahah Cyberfish, just watched that movie the other night My rod would be the Powernoodle with recoil guides, love that rod.
Garett Svir1582813971
I may have a new one this season... got to play with the new Dave Genz Legacy Series UL at the State Fair and WOW. This rod feels like a high end custom rod at a fraction of the price.

coombia21
By far the best rod I have ever ice fished with is my 13 wicked light rod. I have caught everything from 27" walleye to 14" perch all the way down to sunfish on it. I never leave home without it and will most likely be buying 2 more this year. pushbutton
One nice thing about overpaying for their reels is that you truly do get a really nice rod
ski_otter
I fish about 90% panfish so my tripwire is my go to. If I had to pick one rod for all species I'd choose a perch sweetheart
mainbutter
9wt fly rod. I HAVE successfully gimmicked my way to ugly-casting #16 hook flies at panfish (lol) before pike opener, and it's been great for bass, pike, walleye, rough fish, and alaskan salmon. All in all it's probably the most versatile rod I own. 2nd choice would be a medium action spinning rod with 30lb braid.. enough line strength to put some muscle into bigger fish, still fully capable of rigging worms or something for panfish, and pretty ideal for me to be targeting bass, pike, and roughfish. Lusid
Since we are in the "ice fishing" sub forum, I would image we should stick to ice fishing rods? If so.. I have the DH Pantom - strong backbone and sensitive tip.
swmndeerhunter
I'd have to go with my 36" Perch Sweetheart. That is unless I'm going up to Winnipeq!
Scott M
Another vote for TB Perch Sweetheart. Can fish it large with big baits for big fish, or attach a spring and go for panfish. It's the closest to a do everything rod that I own.
Crigger
I also would have to say my tb perch sweetheart.
thatoneguy
TB walleye sweetheart in a heartbeat. Plenty sensitive for panny fishing, but enough backbone for even large toothy critters.
