European Bear Mount?

Is it possible to get a european bear head mount? Any ideas on cost and who does a nice one? If I go that route, can i give away the hide?

 not sure why its not possible. as far as the hide???????????? not sure, several years ago I asked about if I shot a bear if anyone was interested in the hide. I got no interest.

 

I did however attend a decoy show in Alexandria, there were a couple hide people there I asked and they didn't say no????????

If it's a half descent Bear hide a lot of Taxidermist will take them.  Sometimes hides get damaged when tanning and they like to have backups.  My second Bear hide I gave to my Taxidermist because I already had one on the wall.  He was more then happy to have it.  It may help on the costs of the next thing you have them do. Some may even buy them.

other ideas for the hide is 1) shoulder mount  2) bear pillows!!!!!!! I had a GAL THAT DOES UPHOLSTERY make my pillows.

It's definitely possible.  I got one done of my bear last year.  The skull is on a small wooden stand, with the claws arrayed around it.

I don't have mine on a stand like the above picture, but I had my bear skull cleaned and it just sits on my desk.
