We didn't think we would make it last year and it all worked out. 

 

They are taking overnight lows in the teens and low 20's up there end of this week.  We may not make the banks. But we will be out there

well you guys got bigger cahoonas then i do. we got a place about 40 miles northeast of there and there wasnt enough ice for me last year the second weekend of dec.

Well... the Get-to-Gator is the 1st weekend of December, not the 2nd, and these guys and gals all showed up last year and had a fantastic time. 

 

Anyone who who wants to come out, bring a positive attitude, something to share for lunch on the ice Saturday, and feel free to join us! And be prepared to have a good time!

Keep us posted I will retain my vacation days for safe Ice. unless something changes. freak weather change etc.  This sucks I look forward to the camaraderie and the tasty on ice treats.

As of right now, all open water. Some slush and ice in the grass and rice. But that's it.

It was bound to happen one of these years.

I hate to say I told ya so but I've been going up to that neck if the woods for over 50 year's and could tell by the weather pattern and long range forecast it wasn't in an ice making favor. Since 1975 this will be the third time there hasn't been enough safe ice to go out on.

Rengel and I are for sure coming up still. I think I'm going to bring the boat and pull some rapalas around. Should we still do the Friday night pizza and potluck Saturday? I'd be up for it
