The start of my favorite 3 1/2 months is almost here!  It has been a crazy summer and I am ready for some tree stand therapy.  Good luck to all the bow hunters out there that will brave the mosquitoes this weekend.  I will be in a managed area looking to fill the freezer with a healthy doe so I can focus on Mr. Buck the rest of the season.

Wish I was getting out tomorrow, I'll need to wait a couple more weeks.  

I've got 20 acres to myself just outside of Duluth.  My goal is to get a doe on the ground as quick as possible and then see how the rest of the season plays out.  Its an intensive harvest area so I can take 5 if I want and the landowners would like me to but I'm hoping for one nice doe and one nice buck.  However, in reality I'll be content with some alone time in the stand without seeing a deer.

Goodluck everyone! My plans for the weekend are still up in the air due to prior engagements on Saturday. Wisconsin, Public land and Private are all still options for Saturday evening-Monday.

did the bear with bow, now for a deer, gota play catch up around the house to appease the the wife, then im going for a deer. hope to be kut in the next week.

The wife wants us to spend tomorrow in the stand.  I guess I will have to a Blige.

Stoked the big one I missed last year made it until now!! He is a marked buck seeing my dad said he is in the 180 to 200 inch class I am in

Good luck all, I'll have to wait until Monday afternoon for my first shot at being devoured by mosquitos. Then it's game on from now until mid December. Should be a fun year between WI bow, WY rifle Muleys, Missouri bow, and WI rifle. Bring it on.
