Good Morning!

Recommended Posts

HIYA was expecting to wake up to snow this Morning but we are still getting heavy rain, I think we will have no problem launching boats on the local lakes come this fishing season. Going to be awhile for the yard to dry out though. Pancakes this morning and a new bottle of Maple syrup!

Good morning Bobby! Good morning all!!! The big event happening here today is Marvin coming to town with me, and going to the vet to be neutered. Poor guy!! Lots of different birds on the way home last night, honkers, sandhill cranes, a dozen or so swans, sharp tail grouse, mallards, and even a Pintail drake was with them. I wish I could see one of those when I'm laying in the decoys!! Gorgeous birds, those Pintail drakes!!! And there was a ruffled grouse in the yard when I got home, nice to have them around.

Sounds like we'll be getting some snow around here today too.

I had a dream last night I've had many times.  I used to wear contacts and my wife also has this dream.  Trying to put contacts in and the thing is as big as a frisbee so you just start jamming it in your eye.  My son and I were talking about contacts yesterday so that makes sense but the fact we have the dream a lot is weird.

I've taken the majority of the tire advise and put it into the "Anti-Advise" file.  Don't worry it will be helpful but in an opposite sort of way.  For some reason today I feel like joining a Union, putting on make up, piercing a body part with a numbered tag, wearing 50's clothing, driving a semi, looking at a river, petting a chocolate lab, joining a nudist colony, all while watching a PBS special with my neighbor on how great the Mayo Clinic is.

Good morning all. Nice day here, going to be close to 70 so its off to the golf course after work for 18 holes. Frustrating day Monday one of my employees didn't show up for work, call off or answer any of our calls so when he came in yesterday I told him to turn in his key & go home his services are no longer needed. He looked me in the eye and said why I don't understand it was only one time. I've always been on the opposite side of the unions but I wish I had some Union thugs around to smack some sense into him. Anyways all have a good day and my golf balls will be marked with his name and will be using big Bertha full force to tee off B)

Del this morning I was thinking about your pics of the warm weather climate.  Now I crave that since we are supposed to get 3 - 6" of snow in the next day or so.  It has been so nice as in the 40's and even 50's but now back to reality.  30's, which is still not bad considering how bad it could be.

We just went for our morning walk with Buddy and Sammy.  Buddy the new dog is doing awesome by the way.  His previous owners did well with him.  He also had a 6 month stint with some other people.  He is happy and very mannerly.  Doesn't stray too far away even when not on leash.

I just folded the slide in on our camper.  Probably won't be out there for a few days at least.  It has an electric slide which is great.

Well have to, or get to give the wife a kiss as she leaves for work so see ya later.

Ok got this in the right place now.  River is still not open at my house but I think it will be by the end of the day, at least a little channel should appear.  Snowing like a mother right now..

Sounds like you have an ambitious schedule ahead of you LL. If you get all that accomplished, you should sleep well tonight. Had to reread LBBG's post. Thought for a second there he was going to the vet to be neutered, sort of a twofer. Good thing I had my coffee! And good to hear the new dog Buddy is working out well LPS. Hope he's warmed up to you. Hope del got all that Rice-a-Roni in his carry on for us so he didn't have to pay the baggage charge. :)

Not sure what age your ex-employee was coffee but am having a frustrating time with the communication thing at times at work here. It's like it's a bother sometimes to tell me what's up as their job might interfere with their social calendar. It's why they call it a job silly! So you can have a social calendar! Not necessarily a Louis CK fan but there is a clip of him chastising some of the entitlement generation for their attitudes towards work. Language is a little too graphic perhaps for here but it is right on the money.

30 - 12 now I think. The 12 part sounds like the first half scoring of the Gopher men's team in BB! We're thundering down the home stretch with another big buck lamb born last night. A little pneumonia cropping up so have to stay on top of that. Keep them bedded and dry so the air quality stays good. The wind keeps the air moving so that's a plus. The lambs are really growing and nice to have some sun today. About .33" of rain yesterday into the overnight. Finally getting used to the DST. With each day gaining about 3 minutes of daylight, it catches up eventually. Just wish they'd leave it one way or the other.

I was pretty far south of Pismo beach. I could brought some oranges or other citrus, or I could have stole some grapefruit from the tree down the block.  Lots of lemon trees full of lemons.  Seems to be the most popular to plant.

He has 2 lemon, one orange, and one avocado tree in his backyard. Seems to be food for the rats...they are overrun with rats in that town, believe it or not. Said they come from down by the water, and eat the inside out of his fruits, dropping the empty halves of rinds on the ground...

The bad thing was that he was 31 years old so he wasn't a kid. I think it comes down to his parents still handed him everything he has so there is no sense of responsibility. Car, tires, spending money, clothes cleans his laundry. I had friends like that in high school but once I grew up and got in the real world I had no time for people like that and I guess I still don't. Like most of us here I had parents that tought us the value of money and how to earn it, I delivered papers at 9 had a job at 15 and if I wanted anything I had to earn it, mom and dad would help but 95 percent of what I wanted I had to work for it

All heck breakin' loose over here. Screaming winds, couple trees down, branches and garbage cans everywhere. Power out for half the night for 2,000 people about 6 blocks away. Wind is just screaming here. Unreal. Check out the gust speeds.
