Exciting morning, isn't it?  Our friends south of us have nose's pressed to windows waiting for flake #1 to fall, kids still sleeping in with no school.  Sounds like a snowfall is a coming.  I have something different stuck in my head this morning.  Bill Clinton.  He stood behind his wife when she announced her win in Iowa, which at the time and at this time is a tie, and his mouth was agape with a little tilt to his left.  He looked like he was at least 80 years old.  He looked bad, I felt sorry for him.  People get old but he got old fast.

I watched her, which I rarely do, and she had moments of looking and sounding like Hitler.  She's a terrible public speaker and it's painful to watch when she attempts to get animated and she starts shaking her fist with her eyes bugging out.  If I was a little kid it would scare me to see her on tv.  Donald Trump was on.  All I noticed was all the women on stage in his family are hot.  I guess his boys like hunting.  I saw them on a show last weekend and they were pheasant hunting and had vests on that I think I could still see creases in from the factory they were made in.  Way too Brand New for me to help me like them.  Be smart enough to wear a worn in blaze hunting vest, maybe with a hole in the pocket.

Good luck to everyone cooking tonight, maybe keep it inside instead of grilling.  Unless you've left your grill on, like me, you'll need to sweep it off first.

Well, I'm up. I think. *OW* My bones.  *aaaahhh*. Something big sure is coming. LL, you need to start talking about waffles or eggs or bfast muffins or something on the morning thread instead of this political poo. It's too early and It's giving me a headache. :D  Smurfy, you're slobbering Smurfberries and milk all over your formica yellow table. And looking out the window, ITS STARTED!!!!!!!

Been grinding away, first with chores, moving stuff around, a trip to town to see how bad it was, then coming home to finish writing and proofing copy. Whew! I could use a little tincture! I did get some white bread to make French toast while I was at it. Can make it with wheat bread but that would be waaaaay too healthy. Besides I figger the extra ballast might come in handy with all the quality time I'll spend on snow removal.

Got by without dealing with the office pest yesterday but wasn't so lucky today. One of my little fat buddies was impressed with how I deked him though. I announced I was heading out then stopped to check something in my office. He said the pest followed me just like a dog figuring I'd go in and sit down which would be his cue to come in and plop his arse down. Instead I turned quickly and almost ran over him on my way to talk to the barber about the primaries! Luckily he left about that time as his wife called wondering where the H he was. Unreal. A little lull in the storm so Mrs. Cheviot let the dogs out. They came back in soaking wet and stink, welll, like wet Border Collies that hang out in the barn at choretime stink.

Getting hungry. I spied some leftover coffee cake that Auntie Mar Mar left for me so that may be my first victim. Just saw the snowplow go by. WT....? Do these people read forecasts or look at the radar? Only in the People's Republic of Steele Co. Oh well, good day to catch up on my Bonanza reruns and not worry about it.

GET UP!!!!!!!!

I am!!! 20* out , dark, and no wind. Not a lot of drifting over nite. I see the #@!% doo-danged plow STILL has not been by...what the he)) do you have to do in this town to get your street plowed?! I live right in the center of  town, suburbia USA. Looks like I'll be blowing the mess out in a bit....and then again later if and when THE PLOW comes by. Time for cawfee, scrambled eggs, and sausages. Have a good day guys. If ya see the plow, tell him to get his lazy azz down to Reb's.

Beautiful snow outside.  The kid's wish for school closing was thwarted.  As we drove at about 10pm last night my son had some theories on why the Super probably would close school.  I let him humor himself thinking the Super may already be in bed sleeping since he knows that plows would kick it in gear over night and allow buses to pick up the the kids.  90% of school closings are bus related in my opinion.

Hope RH's wife got home safe although probably travel weary.  I kind of like it when we get snow like this.  It slows things down a bit and that's a good thing.

Been in town a while regaling a few people with tales from the "storm". Took a while but got the Mrs. out the driveway and on her way to work with a minimum of effort. Cleaned her work car off, warmed it up and provided valet parking service. Gotta keep her working so when I retire I can have some beer and bait money. I find that work is highly overrated so I may join LL as a fellow Demoocrat soon. All these giveaway programs intrigue me and best of all they're free for the taking! What doncha like about that? ;) Got my oatmeal in, a hunk of coffe cake and my coffee so pretty quick it should be lunch time again. Gonna need more ballast for snow removal. Sounds like another snowfall event coming early next week so I need to be ready for it. I'm still not as fat as I was last year at this time. :D
