MJR
Maybe Farve in his prime, not anymore. Daunte is just coming into his prime, we will see if he is better than Farve was.No question
fishinphilth
Farve is one of the best qb's ever. The way Daunte is playing he too is going to be one of the best qb's ever. The one thing that he might not match is Farve's toughness, Farve is one tough s.o.b. You won't see many players have that many starts in a row let alone a QB. It is true that the Gaints spoiled last years run, but this is a different year. You can't dread on the past. I see the queens winning in normal fasion of doulble the other teams score. 34-17.GO VIKES.31-28 Redskins over the PackJust my prediction.
BackHerUp
Green Bay 26 - Washington 14 (4th Quarter)... New York Giants 34 - Minnesota 13 (4th Quarter)... Dallas 31 - Detroit 21 (4th Quarter)... This is where the Vikings unraveled last year (against the Giants after starting 6-0) and they're about to unravel again... P.S: Daunte is a tremendous talent and I wish he was on the Lions, where he would be appreciated...
Dakota Iceman
Thought maybe it was time we revisited this topic. The 48 td's push took a serious hit yesterday, along with the MVP chants. In all fairness to Daunte....there are a couple of other losers that should step up to the plate. The main one being Mike Tice, I think he is being exposed for the mediocre coach that he is...Randy Moss, well what can you say? I feel sorry for the vikes fans that are forced to rely on this guy. At least they can take comfort in the fact that HE continued his consecutive starts streak...
Ole #1
Mike Tice is a good coach, not mediocre. Moss did great in practice and was looking 100%, he tweaked the hammy during the game.Don't feel sorry for us Vikings fans, we'll be just fine. 196thDLR
I'm very sure that I cannot perform even at 1 tenth of a percent to what both Dante and Randy do on a daily basis. I marvel at the athletic talent of these men. There are just a few over 1000 men that are chosen each year to play the game of professional football. I'm not exactly sure of the total population of this country, but, lets say it is roughly 280 million, 1032 men play each Sunday. The percentage is so small, that you almost need a microscope to see the answer.I do not bash any of those guys, because I can't do what they do. Do I get upset when they lose? You darn right I do.That is my home state team out there. However, I do not think I'm as upset as the players are, when they lose.
MJR
Dakota, Culpepper is still the frontrunner for MVP of the NFL, not sure if loser would be accurate. Why would you feel sorry for vikings fans because of Moss? I feel sorry for the other players playing against Moss that pretty much are just posing for Moss's next poster trying to cover him. I guess he does play when he wants to though, like last year averaged over 100yds a game and over 1 TD a game, which no one else has ever done.Who cares about Moss's streak, not really sure what that will get him or anyone else. I do not disagree with keeping the other team guessing as to weather or not he will play.As for tice I am not sure I have made my mind up about him. Hopefully he keeps learning. psegriz
Interesting subject and reading. I'm not a big fan of culpepper although he's puttin up great stats. No I'm not racist. I just havn't gained much confidence in him after watching him make some big mistakes at critical points in some games. Some say he's maturing, well I really hope your right but I'll need to see the proof of it 1st. I think he has the raw physical talent to be really great, but think other QBs in the league would out do him with the receiver talent he has to work with. Just my opinion
muskybuck
It will take a real good game by a real good team to beat Peyton Manning and the Colts on Monday night football. I think we will know a little more about the Vikes and their QB by tommorrow.
