lots of luck
Stratos, good smack talk!!It's hard to get too excited as a Bears fan, I am 26 and I have seen a lot of bad Bears football compared to good Bears football. It's been almost all bad, except 01'.After 4-6 games I should have a firm opinion, I think the Packers game can be compared to the dog's rear end and sunshine... bottomfeeder
I think Hovan has shown his game and that's what worries winter park and viking fans. Oh, but I forget, he's being double and triple teamed all the time, ya that's the ticket.
MJR
I would say Hovan had about 10 tackles last seasons. He tries hard but he does not get the job done. Not sure why he gets the press he does.
IFallsRon
Urlacher was a stud in the highlights and he might be one of the few who can bring Culpepper down.
Down to Earth
Agree, Hovan hasn't shown his game in over a year. With the players they've added on the D Line you think his play would improve not get worse. He'll be lucky to be a Vike next year. Maybe he could go into WWE with a return of Brock. It would be a good tag team to market.
Stratosman
I have watched both games this year and I can't recall hearing his name associated with making a play yet? If that's the case, lets pull from the starting lineup and put someone else in.
EBass
I agree Hovan is not the answer to the D-line. Now the O-line is weak on the right for the rest of the year and good ol injury prone Jimmy is out all year too. But this doesn't mean that they can't win, but I don't think they are the powerhouse that they want/need to be. Tice better update his resume. How's the special teams doing Tice? How many kickers do you need? OK I'm done ranting. At least we have the T-wolves!
Stratosman
I swear it's hell being a minnesota sports fan, all our teams get close, then break our hearts.
james_walleye
Having Kenny Mixon back this week should give the D-line a boost.
lots of luck
Kind of an ugly game, Bears were playing patented "Bear Football". Which resulted in the usual outcome. I do like the running back Thomas Jones for the Bears.
Chad711
So who will be your QB now, Quinn.. Wow, good luck...
buzzsaw
Oh you had to know you had absolutely NO chance of beating the Vikes in the dome! Mr. small hands has a pretty good QB rating last time I checked... I bet you wish you had a backup as good as Frerotte to plug in for Grossman.. I feel bad your going to have to route for this Quinn kid to pull out victories... Kind the same for that other football team in Illinois.. The Northwestern Wildcats QB got destroyed!!! Oh well atleast you beat the Packers and for that I salute all Bears players!!!!!
lots of luck
Buzzsaw,I would not be too impressed with a 5 point victory over my squad, but a win is a win. Daunte can posts numbers, but I don't think he could take a team 90 yards to win a game, I know very few can. Remember who the Gophs just beat, Northwestern, not quite the perennial powerhouse. buzzsaw
I wasn't impressed either, as usual we played down to another teams level. I dislike using the woulda, coulda, shoulda... BUT I believe the purple should have scored 40 on you guys... we got a bad start out of the gates... credit to the bears I guess. I just had to throw in the Northwestern deal since your an Illinois football fan. The Wildcats have a decent team... or atleast we can agree that they've had worse teams. Whats your prediction on how the central division will shake out win/lose wise?
