They have both, P is plastic, and the G is glass. I wear the plastic as I only have good vision in one eye and have been advised over the years from eye dr. to only wear plastic for impact/breakage reasons. The glass is even better though so I've been told, but have no complaints with plastic by any means.

With lenses I have heard that the green is the best all around. I have the blue and to me it works great, I still switch them out at sunrise and sunset to a Amber colored lens forow light conditions.

Some guys have gray lenses also now.

I've heard green is best for freshwater

Blue is best for clear saltwater

Try them out for yourself is my best advise because everyone has a personal preference.

I have some Maui Jims (from costco, great deal), two pairs of Oakley (factory store in CA, also great deal) and a variety of different cheap polarized glasses, ranging from Kirkland to igog to the ones sold at the kiosk at the mall.

To be honest I can't tell much difference, although the more expensive ones seem to be more comfortable. Some are a little darker. The igogs are blue mirror and not so dark.

I suspect the biggest difference is in the frames, not the lenses. There is also a large "fashion" element in some brands, and the normal hype. I just can't get myself to pay more than $100 for sunglasses.

I have a pr. of Oakleys That love, but to expensive for my budget.( they were a present from my kids!)Have several prs. of the Strike king S 11. Keep one pr in the boat, one in truck, and one that gets moved between fishing bags. I like these too. grin
