Cut a little off the bottom first and push down. slick! 1 T of lemon juice per quart of water to soak them in for a few minutes to slow the browning down. would be a lot of work taking the peels off. I love the dried apples for fishing, hunting or whenever one wants a snack.Wanna try something I believe is even better than dried apples, try some pears, man they are good.
