14 ram 1500

Anyone have 14 ram 1500. Happy with it? Would you recomend? Have a 05 f150 looking to replace

I've had a '94, 95,96,02,03,05,06,07,2011,12,13 and now a '14.

All have been 2500 except for the '14 is a SRW 3500.

The new '14 is the 6.4 Hemi and gets about 20 +/- on the Highway. Rides better than any of the other trucks.

You won't be disappointed.

I have a few friends and relatives that were die hard Ford or Chevy - they recently bought new Ram's and couldn't be happier. Drive them all and see what you like best. When on a test drive, drive over to the Ford/Chevy dealer to compare them side by side.

I drove a Ford, Chevy and a Ram last weekend. Drove the Ford home.

Depends on your intended use. Since I don't care to hear the wife complain while riding in the same vehicle, I took her input on this one as well. Most of which I agree with.

Incentives should only get better with the 2015 models out now.

We preferred the Ford due to the amount of room in the cab and the floor is flat in the back of the cab. Neither Chevy or Ram compared.

Price and the overall layout of the dash was also a selling point.

Chevy had the smoothest/quietest ride.

Ram had the best acceleration.

Drive them all. Try to find a dealer that has at least 2 of the brands you're looking at to make it easier.

With the issues it has had so far and the issues i expect to have i doubt i will look at another ford. Maybe next time if the 5.0 proves to be better over time than the 5.4

Anyone know if the RAM incentives extend to the ecodiesel?

Would love to get 27 mpg on the highway with a half ton. However with the heavy discounts this month (looking at Silverado), I'm not sure the ecodiesel makes sense yet.

No incentives on the eco diesel according to the ram HSOforum.

Talked to a guy at the boat landing he has newer ram gas and said it gets 19 to 21 on hwy.

Same as a comparable Chev, GMC or Ford then with regards to mileage from a gasser.
