Butter Free Sweet Corn!!!!

Okay, Friday night out neighbor was telling us about how she had made sweet corn on the grill that night for her family and trust me when I tell you this, it is unbelievably GREAT, she took bacon, wrapped it around the corn, wrapped it in foil and threw it on the grille for about 20 minutes. Great Googly Moogly, you can't describe the taste!!!!!! We used thick cut bacon so it didn't crisp up, but we aren't even into sweet corn season yet.

Bacon truly makes everything better!!!!!!!!!!

Husk on or off?

I put some in the smoker with the ribs dang they were good!!

Thanks Pix, now I'm going to have to try that. On direct heat on the grill? Indirect?

I use a pellet smoker grill so I guess you could call it indirect

Did you eat the bacon seperatley or just bite through it on the cob! I might try both!

We tried this tonight with some questionable supermarket corn. It had the bacon flavor and was ok but I could go without, especially with good corn. It was worth the experiment though. Btw the bacon was great on my chicken breast sandwich...lol.
