Concrete and deck resurfaces

Anybody tried these? I've read some reviews online that weren't very good for decks but can't seem to find much as far as concrete. Lowes sells rust oleum brand and menards sells Pittsburgh brand. Thinkink about trying on a concrete pad in back yard that needs to be improved cosmetically. Actually it needs to be replaced but not interested in spending the $3k it would cost yet this year so looking for a bandaid that might last a couple years. Suppose outdoor carpet an option too but not excited about that.

Whatever you do spend a lot of time on the prep. A neighbor did some sort of resurface on his driveway and it all flaked off in less than a year. Looked worse than when he started.

I've looked into those deck/concrete resurface products and haven't gotten much feedback on them. I have found some online reviews mainly from people using it on their decks and reviews have been mixed. Seems like peeling can be a big problem. Everyone seems to claim they did the prep work as instructed but you have to wonder if they really did.

I was going to use it on my deck that is showing its age but opted to just go with a fresh coat of stain since I am hoping to sell the house this summer. It just wasn't worth the money to me.

Lol hope Im reading the question right but here it goes anyway.

Depending on the surface condition,Behr Premium porch and patio floor paint does the trick too. It's not the fancy restore stuff but it has done fine on some of my jobs in the past.

Do what the can tells you to do.

Behr has a primer for the patio paint and also a etcher/cleaner product by behr.

If you go on there site, they usually have a how to on there including a list of materials you will need Start to finish.

Just an idea to add in the basket

Good luck!
