1995 headlight adjustment?

Recommended Posts

Turn one of them one full turn while watching the lens. If it moves up or down the. Turn it back one turn and your ready to make adjustment. Or you could just swing by a local body shop and have it done using the alignment tools and have it be right on. The charge is usually pretty minimal.

trial and error.

Pull your auto up to a garage door (closed) or a wall on a level grade. With the lights ON, mark the centers of each with some tape. Make adjustments.

what kind of bulb is it? i had a ford ambo that had the old style glass bulbs in it. not paying attention i slapped it in and away the crew went. that night got a call that one light is shining up in the air, the one i changed. did not change the adjustment just removed the holding ring and changed it. took it to the shop, put the alignment tool on it sure enough it was showing high. could not get it to adjust down far enough. called buddy of mine, first thing he asked was if the bulb was upside down. i ran out looked came back said yes, he told me to flip it over readjust. Low and behold that was it. The prism in the bulb is made a certain way and when i put it in upside down it changed it. Lesson learned
