Slush attatchment for drill

I saw a slush copter last weekend and thought it worked remarkably well for permanent houses. Problem is nobody has them around here. I've tried to contact the company by phone, by facebook, by email for a week and no response. Has anyone tried the metal one they sell at Fleet? It's heavier and not as nice but you can't buy a product you can't find and the owners don't care enough to respond.

There is a list of 30 dealers listed on the slush copter HSOforum homepage 'Pick Yours Up At'. Many of which are in MN...I assume you've tried all of them!?

From my experience the best place for the slush is on top of the ice it keeps coming up as long as your there.

+1 Seems like when you push the slush down you keep getting a little back in the hole every time you catch a fish and its just another thing to bring with you in the house.

I love my slush copter. ordered it from factory site in Minnesota. cheaper than most stores. I have never had to use an ice scoop after using the copter twice in each hole. I run the copter 3/4 of the way down the hole & let it run for 15/20 seconds & its all gone for good. nothing comes up when landing a fish.

The reason I'm looking close to home is so I can get it this week before moving the house. All the places that have them in stock are up close to the border where they are made. And you know how slow some people are to ship. They wait till they get a few orders and then do them all. If I have to wait a week or two I might as well wait till summer when I go up north and save the $13 shipping and probably get them a ton cheaper also. Heck, I would pay extra to have one today. And, it is frustrating when people don't respond. One of their numbers even has a such a full message file you can't even leave one and the others don't respond.

Where is "close to home"? I just bought one in Detroit Lakes a week ago. Haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

Guess what. Monica just called and they were in Las Vegas for a week. She'll have one on UPS today for me. Nicest lady in the world with an incredible product. If you're tired of carrying 5 gal pails of slush out the door of your house get one. Only God knows where the shavings go because they don't come up in the other holes! This gimmick/gadget works.

Finally got a chance to get out. LOTS of ice and this little tool worked as advertized. Saved a lot of back breaking work hauling slush out of the house!

My buddy was dog tired after he got done setting up his house and I didn't even break a sweat after the holes were drilled. A big thumbs up for this product!

Hawg, ordered my Slush Copter online and had it in 2 days, shipping was lighting fast. Never rtalked to anyone, just a online order.

I would not trade this away for anything, best unit I have found for something new in years.

Why can't I think of something like this.

Harvey, I'm sure there are people on here that think I must work for the company as much as I've been on about these things. Just like you I got it and used it and it was so neat I wanted to show people. No more buckets of slush that seem to weigh 10#'s more each year older I get. When I couldn't get one at first I almost bought the metal one. They might work to but these are so light, sink proof, and easy, I'm glad I waited for this brand.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
