Drying your portable

My portable always seems to get some moisture build up on it while I am out fishing and I like to dry it out after every use but with out a heated garage this makes it kind of difficult. How do you guys dry out your houses with out a heated garage?

I have dried my house out after just about every use up until this year. I feel that it is the same thing as drying your boat off when you leave the lake. Besides the fact that I like to keep my house nice, the last time I used it and wasn't able to dry it out the temp had warmed up and melted the ice in the shack and then it got cold and the shack froze shut. I am glad that I tried to open it up before my trip, otherwise it would have been a miserable trip. I will try putting the buddy heater in it and drying it out that way. Any other tips would be great.

I fish in my house four to five days a week sometimes more and have had the same one for 4 years,in fact I still have my old house that I have owned for 8years,both are still "nice" and in perfect operating condition.

If you have a electric in your garage just plug in a small space heater set on low with a small fan circulating the air. Leave the vents open and door unzipped so it can air out. Check it after a few hours should be pretty dry.

Spring time hose it down good & set it out in the sun to air dry before storing. Use a cover so mice won't get in as easy etc.

Take a day off from work and go to the lake on a sunny day.

1. Turn the heater on and fish

2. Once the house has dried, pack up the house before the sun sets.

It seems I only get condensation when I m fishing on cloudy days or fishing at night.
