Attaching Ice auger to front of ATV.

I have a 2013 Polaris 500. I wish to install a bracket whereby I can fasten my Ice Auger(Strikemaster 3000).

Preferably to the front.

How do you guys do it?

Get a Digger Auger Carrier and the Polaris Lock and Ride adapters for it.

Kolpin Auger Mount. Not sure how it would attach to a Polaris rack though.

I made one that held two augers or an auger and a shovel. Pulled four screws off the front rack and mounted it with them.

Thank you! The Digger bracket I found on the internet, but what are "Polaris Lock and Ride adapters"? Googling that doesnt come up with a clear part number to order.

Call digger. If your polaris ATV has the lock and ride they made an adapter for it.

I am looking to make a auger holder for my John Deere Gator

(either in the bed or off the bumper)

I built one before on my old gator but I need a new one.

I have also looked the DIGGER Anchor ice auger holder and it looks like a nice set up.

I will be looking into these a little more

I have had great luck the last 2 years with just a set of gun mounts on the front of my 2006 Sportsman (flat synthetic rack). I only need to use the straps when going to and from the lake, or when the ice/snow is really rough. Otherwise, just throw it on there and pull right off. The auger head rests on the rack so it's supported. Just have to bolt the gun mounts on. I take them off in the summer and put the rack extension back on. Just another option.
