Shark Week?

I use to like it but after umpteen years of having the 1st week of August all about sharks I have learned all I need to know about sharks. I still watch if nothing else peaks my interest but I wouldn't mind if they would change it up a bit and have a week dedicated to some other deadly beast. I do miss the Discovery Channel of 20 some years ago when they use to have shows about animals on all the time. It use to be like the old Mutual of Omaha's Wild Ransom With Marlin Perkins if anybody remembers that show. It was much better to watch the show after we got a color tv.

I love shark week. Each year it seems to get better. With more and more footage in HD those great whites are amazing.

Didn't quite get the Megalodon story, it seemed like one of those wannabe reality shows or blair witch style film. Like they wanted it to be a real story but added to it. A 60 foot shark?

i would like it a lots better if they got some new programming to air, seems like its the same regurgitated shows every year, although the megaladon story was kinda cool, something big hit that boat and took that sensor down deep fast, i like how at the end in the sub titles they were saying something about a sub possibly being what they were hit by, i dont doubt there is some of those out there, there is a lot of ocean we know nothing about.
