hoggs222
What accessories would you get for a new RZR? It already has a 4500# winch with it, what additions have you made to yours?Uses are for trail riding, ice fishing and general use. What GPS's work good for trails? PurpleFloyd
I am not sure if they changed the location of the air intake but if it is in the same location they used to be I would buy and aftermarket kit that gets it out of the rear wheel well. I bought one from S&S over in Wisconsin and it not only gave it better performance but it also put it in a spot where it was drawing in clean air and not dust. Other than that if I had the dollars I would have put tracks on it, a cab, doors, heater and the list goes on. They are a load of fun to drive. You can put it in 4x4, crank the wheel, punch the throttle and do power donuts until you get dizzy or bored.
riverwader
I added lock and ride front and rear windshield for the fall and winter. Also I added polaris bumper, but without adding the thunderhawk radiator brace it is useless. I also added the RZR S rear cage extension so I could add the koplin gun boots. It tried the other one that mounts in the box but it bounced around too much.
Biggerfish
1 - windshield2 - canvas cab for the winter. Hard cab if you can afford3 - radio4 - tracksin that order
kupman
We have a half front windshield, but that created a vortex, covering you with dust.. If you add a windshield, get a rear one. Bought a vinyl one from Rocky Mount ATV for $40, reducing dust about 80%! Would look into aftermarket springs. A roof of some kind I think is mandatory, we have Polaris. Just picked up a Garmin E-Trex 20, haven't tried it yet though. +1 on the winch. The list goes on and on
echotrail
In looking at the RZR's at a metro area dealer it seems everything beyond the air in the tires is "Add-on" and it doesn't take long to get from 13 thousand to 18+
PurpleFloyd
That price might not be so bad if the fit, finish and overall quality of the RZR was better.
aczr2k
First thing I would add is a FUTV skid plate either in 3/8" or 1/2" thick the factory one is garbage. I learned first hand, spend the money or it will just cost you more. GPS I still use an old garmin with the topo maps, works fine for me. Polaris has a nice in dash GPS setup for the RZR but it's spendy. Doors are a nice option to get rid of the PIA nets. Lots of options out there also some of the best no rattlers are UTV Inc, PRP, 50 Caliber Racing, R&R Products. I'd stay away from the Pro Armor doors. LED light bar, by far one of the best investments I've made. It makes the factory headlights worthless. I have a 20" rigid SR series, it is super bright but I really should have gotten the 30".If you haven't already check out the rzrforum everything you ever wanted to know about them. Just beware it gets expensive to hang out over there so hold on to your checkbook tight, before long you will wonder how you ever rode without all the "extras".
