Eric Wettschreck
135 for a cord and quick disconnect? I'm in the wrong line of work. You're looking at 20 bucks and less than a half hour of work to fix.
CAMAN
Shhhhhhh..... But seriously it should be a super easy fix, the hardest part will probably be figuring out how to remove the housing cover. Everything else should be screws or butt splices.
snagger
Agreed. My Dad needs a compressor anyways so I'll work with him to fix it. It's almost insulting they wanted that much to fix it.
PurpleFloyd
I bought the porter Cable pancake compressor a few years ago and it was not very good IMHO. It lasted me about a year to a year and a half before it died.
Ufatz
Bought the little P-Cable ten years ago with three guns for $135 at H-Depot. Has worked perfectly every time I use it. Can't ask for more than that. And that repair estimate is the nuts!! Tell 'em to get lost!
titelines
Got my PC about 7 years ago and it's been flawless. Got all the different nozzles/attachments and there's nothing I can't do with it.
